I do hope you enjoy our “ACS Dance Family” recorded classes, it has taken a lot of time to compile them all, there were over 50 films to make including graded classes, “Ballet Concepts” exercises, “stretching”, “Singing and Drama Exercises”, fitness “Warm-ups” etc! So you can replay and practice as much as you wish, but please note they are only for use by you our paid up ACS students and should not be passed on to others for copyright reasons. If you were just about to take your exam, you can take a look at the grade above to get a head start or practice your current grade.
If you know of others who would like to join the classes, they can join the school by calling us on 01708 783576 and they can access them by joining as a new “home student” for a small fee depending how many genres they wish to access.
We would really love to see videos of you practicing along with us at home, so either “whatsapp” them to us to give you feedback or you could put up on ACS Dance Family group page. If you could consider making a donation to our charity too at this time, especially if you are using these classes a lot, please see the donate button above on the website www.acsdance.uk , we would be hugely grateful, as it could make all the difference in keeping our school going through this very challenging period when we have zero income.
You could also sign up for the Giving lottery for your chance to win £25,000 we get 40p from every ticket sold. Tickets are only a £1 per week
* * Please don’t forget there is also the opportunity to add “gift aid” to any donations you may make on the website at no extra cost to yourself.

By downloading & watching these videos you understand and assume all risks associated with the dance instruction offered for you and your child, including but not limited to risk of bodily injury due to yours or your child's physical condition or limitations. ACS Dance Centre assumes no responsibility for loss or injuries suffered while practicing the techniques in these videos. You waive all claims arising out of the dance instruction offered and perform the techniques at your own risk.
Make sure your room is ready, clear a spot in your home big enough to give you space to move around safely. Be sure there are no obstacles such as coffee tables, plants, wiring or chairs in the way etc, and be aware of any pets or people that might sneak up on you while you are dancing!
Put on appropriate dancewear to dance in and footwear dependent on your floor surface. You do not have to wear your normal dance shoes if your floor would be too slippery or too sticky to make them suitable, bare feet may be better than ballet shoes or socks on a slippery floor or in the garden.
NEW INTERACTIVE Dance Classes after Easter - prior booking only
We really feel that the human “CONTACT” factor, seeing, talking and interacting with your ACS Friends and of course Teachers, is hugely important at this time for mental as well as physical health and so we will be schedulling these new “Interactive classes” on line via the Zoom Platform, all you need is a computer with a wifi connection.
These classes will be bookable via our website and you can then “log in” with a Zoom link we send you once we receive your booking fee which is via the “Donate Button” please let us know by text if your donation name is from a different surname to the Child’s name and also which class(es) /dates, you are booking for. The suggested donation amount per class is on the timetable and works out less than your normal class amounts per class, we hope though that you will consider including Gift Aid which will then top this up for the school, but at no extra cost to you.
Please make sure you have a good wifi connection and if multiple users in your house it’s best that others are not downloading films etc at the same time as your class is on! ( a hard wired Ethernet cable is best for reception, but wireless wifi also does work fine, it’s just less reliable) You will be able to watch and join in with your teacher and class mates and actually speak and get live feedback from your teachers, you will be emailed a special meeting link which you click on. The classes will take place at set times of day listed on the timetable below to not clash with any home schooling you have going on.
Because all the recorded regular scheduled and syllabus classes are now available as pre-recorded on our website link, we will not have every single class available interactively, but instead we will group ages/levels together periodically to do more general freework and non syllabus in each genre appropriate for age ranges.
You can book these from the timetable here per class and once paid you receive a link to the Zoom class, and will be admitted into the “waiting room” around 5 minutes before the start time and then away we go! You will be “muted” to start with, but if you want to speak or ask a question, just wave so the teacher can “unmute” you. NB its best to tick computer audio if on a laptop.
Many of your Teachers will be able to teach in this way from their houses and gardens and we will take it in turns, which again helps out the teachers’ out with income whilst they are unable to work their normal hours at the studio. We do hope that you will find this valuable as we know you miss your dancing just as WE MISS YOU TOO and so please support us so we can keep going!!!!
